About the Role
Fulfil the accountabilities and responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives, as outlined below:
- Coffee making / barista duties.
- Provide customer focused service at all service points including staff dining room, cafeteria and wards.
- Accept payment for meals and provide correct change (cafeteria only).
- Ability to work in a busy environment with an understanding of time management skills.
- Assist wherever required as notified by the supervisor.
- Accurately follows relevant procedures and instructions and checks own work.
- Prepare ingredients for meals according to directions and procedures.
- Service correct portions for meals in the plating line to maintain standards.
- Maintain a clean working area at all times to required standards.
- Comply with the requirements of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour in the work environment.
- Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Other duties as directed.
The Process
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and should there be an employment opportunity you will be contacted to discuss the opportunity further. Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required.

- A pool will generally continue for a 12-month period.
