About the Role
- Participate in efficient and appropriate discharge of patients under your care by attending and contributing to case conferences, communication with other members of the treating team, writing detailed, timely discharge summaries and liaising with community care providers.
- Respond promptly to pages or phone calls from members of nursing staff about questions or requests in relation to the patients under your care.
- Admit emergency patients under supervision by PHO, Registrar or Consultant. Documentation of all admissions is to comply with the “Medical Documentation” Policy.
