In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering the department's vision, improving student educational outcomes, and fostering the highest standards of teaching and learning.

Dallarnil State School, located in the Biggenden district within the North Burnett Regional Council, has proudly served its rural community for over a century, with strong ties to dairying and beef cattle farming. The school collaborates in sporting, curriculum, and cultural activities with nearby schools, fostering a supportive and connected educational environment. Dallarnil State School continues to offer a close-knit and welcoming setting for families in the region.

Your Opportunity 

As the Principal you will:

  • Deliver the vision of the department
  • Improve the educational outcomes of students in their schools
  • Develop the quality of teaching and learning
  • Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

The Principal reports to the School Supervisor. 

Your Responsibilities 

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:  

  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Active participants in life long learning and ongoing professional development.
