Mulgildie State School are seeking applications for teachers specialising in Primary Years prep-12 with Flexibility to work across Mulgildie SS, Abercorn SS and Monto SHS with Mulgildie being your base school. The successful applicant will be able to work well within a team, have good curriculum knowledge and understanding, a willingness to seek support and ask questions when needed and build strong and respectful relationships with students and the community. Teacher housing provided for successful applicant.

Mulgildie State School is a small country school with Prep – Year 6, Students at Mulgildie are provided with an up-to-date curriculum with a variety of pedagogy to ensure all students learn to the highest of their potential. As a small school we aim to offer an education which caters for and promotes individualism by preparing students for the future as well as responding to the changing needs of society.

Abercorn State School is a small country school situated between Eidsvold and Monto in the North Burnett region, Our school prides itself on using the Age Appropriate Pedagogies approaches and principles to deliver the curriculum. This means students are actively engaged which in turn creates a love of learning.

Monto State High School is a small stand-alone high school with students travelling from five primary schools in the area including a non-state school. The school is situated in the second largest area of school grounds in Queensland. It has an extensive farm for the agricultural section, growing crops and raising cattle. The school has an extensive range of curriculum offerings, with growing flexibility for students in the senior phase of learning.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.   • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
  • Working rights in Australia, which means you have, or you are eligible to obtain a valid Australian Visa with work rights (if you're not already an Australian Citizen or resident).
