This position is temporary full-time until 31 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
As Manager Student Services, you will lead and coordinate a diverse portfolio in the Student Services team including specialised staff focussed on supporting inclusive practices across North Coast region. The Manager role works closely with other leadership staff to provide multi-disciplinary services, achieve departmental outcomes and support Equity and Excellence for all.
The Manager Student Services reports to the Director Student Services, North Coast Region.
Based in North Coast region - office location can be negotiated and include a choice of Maroochydore, Maryborough and Bundaberg.
Responsibilities Include:
As Manager Student Services, your responsibilities include:
- Working to supervise and develop staff with diverse specialisations and expertise; implementing consistent, transparent and robust practice to ensure the provision of quality guidance and support.
- Making complex decisions and providing advice to senior management on key and emerging issues while considering the legal and policy implications.
- Anticipating risk, responding to issues and trends through data analysis to develop innovative solutions and drive operational planning and resource allocation.
- Identifying opportunities to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders and maintaining existing networks within the state schools sector.
- Providing high level documentation, including briefs, correspondence, and reports to support decision making.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Director Student Services or nominated delegate.
About You:
It would be highly desirable to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong communicator and recent experience relevant to the role.
- Travel across North Coast region may be required.
