Coalstoun Lakes State School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher Aide to become a valued part of our small, close-knit school community in the beautiful North Burnett region. If you're passionate about education and love making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!

This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.63FTE), 48 hours per fortnight.

  • Assisting in the supervision of education activities, under the direction of a teacher
  • Working with small groups as well as individual students
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs
  • Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families
  • Required to work across all year levels from P - 6 in all areas of the curriculum in a small school environment.

You May Also Be Called Upon To:

  • Assist with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources
  • Undertake clerical assistance duties including typing teachers' notes and programs, photocopying teaching materials, collation and duplication of exam papers, recording of examination results, compiling students' results records, assisting in organising off-site activities
  • Assist in preparing, storing, distributing and clearing away teaching equipment and materials
  • Contribute to the welfare, health and safety of students, including the delivery of first aid
