Isis District State High School are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrative Officer to join our school administration team for Term 4 2025, unless otherwise determined.

This is a temporary position to support operational needs during a staffing adjustment.

Isis District State High School is a rural-based secondary school located in the town of Childers. About the Role

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Student Attendance Management:
    • Track and record student attendance in accordance with school policies.
    • Prepare attendance reports for review by the Principal and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Address attendance discrepancies
  • Social Media & Website Management:
    • Oversee the school's social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
    • Develop, schedule, and post engaging content to promote school events, achievements, and activities.
    • Monitor social media interactions and respond to inquiries or comments in a timely manner.
    • Maintain and update the school's website to ensure content is current and relevant.
  • Graphic Design Support:
    • Create visually appealing graphics and promotional materials using programs such as Canva
    • Collaborate with the Principal and other staff to design content that aligns with the school's branding and messaging.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Assist with the coordination of school events, meetings, and other administrative tasks.
    • Manage office systems, files, and documents.
    • Perform other duties as required to support the daily operations of the school.
