Gundiah State School is seeking a highly organised and professional Business Manager (AO3) to join our school community on a permanent part-time basis.
This role provides high-level administrative, financial, human resource and facilities support to the principal and plays a key role in ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the school.
This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.4FTE), 29 hours per fortnight.

Your Opportunity:
As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and advice to the principal.
You will work autonomously within established policies and procedures, managing competing priorities in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day school administration, reception services, records management and
correspondence - Supervising and supporting school support staff, including workforce planning, rosters, leave and
timesheets - Coordinating recruitment, induction and training of school support staff
• Assisting the Principal with school budgeting and managing financial operations, including accounts
payable/receivable, banking, reconciliations and One School reporting - Supporting the management of school resources, assets and facilities, including minor works and
maintenance coordination - Preparing reports, meeting minutes, newsletters and school documentation
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including staff, parents, community members and
departmental representatives - Providing advice and solutions on business, finance, HR and facilities matters in line with
departmental policies
