About Meridan State College
Meridan State College is a Prep-Year 12 College located in Meridan Plains, Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast. At Meridan, we aim to provide a contemporary educational experience that prepares every student for the challenges and opportunities of the future, fostering the education of this broad age range of students in modern campuses, which have been purpose designed to cater for each cohort at their specific age of development.
Your Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain high cleaning standards across classrooms and college facilities to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively as part of a proactive team of 21 cleaners.
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, toilets, sick bays, windows, furniture, fittings and shared spaces.
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, sweeping, buffing, stripping and polishing.
- Manage rubbish removal, litter control, graffiti removal, cobweb and mildew control.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and complete duties in line with the school cleaning program.
Positions Available:
- 31.5 hours (Permanent 31.5hrs) Monday - Friday - Immediate start. This position has the option to be full time with an additional 6.5hrs (Temporary) until 15/01/2027, unless otherwise determined
- 24 hours (Temporary) Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - Immediate start to 13/07/2026, unless otherwise determined
- 22.5 hours (Temporary) Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Immediate start to 15/01/2027, unless otherwise determined
- 23 hours (Temporary) Monday to Friday Morning Shifts - Immediate start until 15/01/2027, unless otherwise determined
