About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and high-performing professional with strong expertise, sound judgement, and a commitment to operational excellence.

As the Business Manager, you will lead the delivery of corporate services and support the school's strategic and operational priorities. You will oversee administrative, financial, human resource, facilities, and project management functions, including the supervision of school support staff, coordination of maintenance programs and infrastructure projects, and the provision of expert advice to stakeholders on complex matters.

Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, you will contribute to strategic planning for 2027, including budget development, workforce planning, resource allocation, and the identification of key operational priorities.

The Business Manager reports directly to the Principal and works closely with the leadership team and key stakeholders to support the effective operation, strategic direction, and continuous improvement of the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide autonomous leadership in delivering effective school business services and modelling high standards in service delivery.
  • Oversee executive and administrative functions, improving systems, processes, and workforce capability to enhance efficiency.
  • Lead human resource management for school support staff, including recruitment, induction, performance, training, and workforce planning.
  • Contribute to financial management, including budget development, monitoring, reporting, and compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Support facilities and project management, including planning works, liaising with contractors, and managing maintenance and improvement budgets.
  • Build and maintain professional networks to support best practice and continuous improvement across corporate services.
