As a Support Planner, you will play a vital role in administering the National Injury Insurance Scheme, Queensland, providing necessary and reasonable treatment, care, and support to eligible individuals, irrespective of fault.

About the role

As a Support Planner, you will work directly with participants to assess their treatment, care, and support needs. Your role will involve developing personalised support plans, making decisions regarding necessary and reasonable services, and providing information and support to participants, their families, and carers. You will play a crucial part in empowering participants to set and achieve their individual goals, maximise their independence, and participate in the community and employment.

About you

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, but the following attributes and experience will be highly regarded:

  • Lived experience of disability
  • Identification as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • Allied health, rehabilitation or insurance industry experience, in particular CTP insurance and worker's compensation.
  • Strong alignment with NIISQ Agency's purpose and values.
