You will be responsible for providing high level advice and professional expertise to deliver funding support related to the treatment care and support of NIISQ participants.

Your role

  • Provide high level advice regarding funding support mechanisms including insights and system requirements related to the treatment, care and support of NIISQ participants to encourage innovative practice, continuous improvement and support the delivery of NIISQ strategic objectives.
  • Identify and monitor trends related to service approvals and conduct funding data analysis to identify key opportunities to drive efficient operations, continuous improvement and value.
  • Oversee and deliver efficient and effective funding support arrangements in accordance with NIISQ legislative requirements.,
  • Undertake high level funding support activities including system workflow review and approval roles.
  • Contribute actively to cross-team projects and lead business improvement activities utilising demonstrated project management methodologies and principles.
  • Work collaboratively with NIISQ business areas to establish and deliver innovative NIISQ funding support solutions for participants in line with organisation objectives and business needs.
  • Undertake funding support activities and any required contract management related to participant treatment, care and support.
  • Other appropriate duties as directed commensurate with the role.

About you

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a strong commitment to shared values, and a broad skillset that includes:High level knowledge and understanding of funding principles and processes relevant to NIISQ.

  • Strong project management, planning, data analysis and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of funding support mechanisms in disability, health or injury insurance schemes.
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to build rapport and the ability to communicate complex information with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Highly developed understanding and application of work technology, digital systems and Microsoft suite.
  • Strong commitment and alignment with NIISQ Agency purpose, guiding principles and values.
