About your opportunity

Deliver professional, client-focused clinical pharmacy services under the supervision of a pharmacist, within a learning, evidence-based, quality and multidisciplinary health care environment.

The developed knowledge and experience will facilitate AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist with enhanced skills in the field of hospital pharmacy practice.

Promote safe, effective and efficient use of medicines in keeping with the department's goals and objectives and mission statements for the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.

Generous package up to $90,194 p.a. comprising:

  • Base salary rate of $79,051 p.a. (HP3.0)
  • 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Plus: professional development, accommodation and/or relocation assistance may apply.

Requirements

Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Community.

  • Provisional registration with AHPRA, including proof of completion of an approved program of study for pharmacy practice.
  • VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, MMR, Varicella, and Pertussis.
  • A probationary period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted for the successful applicants.
