Northern Beaches State High School is seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join our team as a Senior Schooling Administration Officer. In this pivotal role, you will provide administrative and operational support across a range of senior schooling programs and initiatives, helping to ensure students are well supported as they transition through senior secondary education and into further study, training, or employment.

Working closely with school leaders, students, families, training providers, and industry partners, you will play a key role in managing senior student records, supporting pathway planning, coordinating vocational education opportunities, and ensuring compliance with QCAA, VET, and ATAR requirements.

About You:

You will be a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong administrative, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in senior schooling, student pathways, vocational education, or educational administration will be highly regarded.

About the Role:

Provide administrative and operational support to Senior Schooling programs and initiatives, contributing to positive student outcomes through the effective delivery of the key responsibilities outlined below.

  • Senior Schooling Administration & Student Pathways - Coordinate and maintain senior student records, subject selections, subject changes, pathway adjustments, enrolments, certification documentation, transition data and post-school destination information.
  • QCAA, VET, ATAR Compliance & Reporting - Manage data collection, verification and reporting requirements for QCAA, VET, ATAR and Departmental obligations, including USI management, certification processes, Statements of Attainment, student achievement records and compliance reporting.
  • Work Experience, VET & Industry Partnerships - Coordinate work experience, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships (SATs), VET programs and industry placements while developing and maintaining partnerships with employers, training providers, community organisations and government stakeholders.
  • Senior Schooling Events & Parent Engagement - Provide administrative support for key senior schooling initiatives including SET Plan meetings, Senior Education and Training processes, curriculum information evenings, subject selection activities and other transition-focused events.
  • Curriculum & Operational Support - Support the development and annual review of the Senior Curriculum Handbook, maintain pathway and curriculum information, provide data and administrative support to senior leadership, and contribute to the effective operation of senior schooling programs and initiatives.
