About Cranbrook State School:

Cranbrook State School is nestled in the suburbs of Townsville and provides education children from Prep to Year 6. This fabulous school community is seeking a Psychologist to add to their team and provide services as part of the Wellbeing Workforce.

 About the Role:

Psychologists in these roles do the following:

  • Provide mental health and wellbeing support to students within the school community;
  • Engage with school teams to ensure students are support with best-practice adjustments;
  • Participate in, and provide, professional development;
  • Engage with stakeholders and community members;
  • Build rich relationships with the school and support universal wellbeing and mental health initiatives.

As an employee of the Department in our region, Psychologists are able to access:

  • 12.75% superannuation;

  • Access to a wide range of professional development;
  • Professional supervision.
