About us:
Collinsville State High School is the smallest stand-alone state high school in Queensland.
The school services the Collinsville township and the surrounding rural area. Established in 1986, it provides education to a diverse range of students, from both town and rural-based backgrounds.
Located in the northern region of the Bowen Basin, local industry is largely based on coal mining. The school size and enrolment resultantly fluctuates in line with the fortunes of the mining industry.
Collinsville State High School provides the local community with a comprehensive quality education aligned with the community values and aspirations in the quality education programs offered in a small school setting for students from year 7 to year 12.
Your opportunity:
- Provide facilities care and support to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate to assist with the efficient operation of the school.
- Undertake a range of routine facilities activities to maintain the school environment and facilities to a high standard.
- Follow established instructions and procedures while independently completing routine day-to-day facilities and maintenance tasks.
- Undertake non-routine duties under regular supervision and guidance as required.
- Perform general facilities duties within the scope of the role, with repairs requiring qualified tradesperson services excluded.
