About the Role:
The Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Consultant provides timely advice to support effective risk management, legislative compliance and organisational performance. The role involves analysing complex health and safety issues, driving improvement initiatives, and building the capability of leaders and staff to maintain safe, healthy and compliant workplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice on health, safety and wellbeing legislation, risk management, policies and psychosocial hazards.
- Analyse incidents, injuries and performance data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support risk assessments, investigations, audits and assurance activities, including corrective actions.
- Develop and implement policies, strategies, systems and improvement initiatives aligned with organisational needs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide reports, briefs and recommendations on risks, compliance and performance.
