In this role, you will manage, prioritise and track the registration and workflow allocation of incoming and outgoing correspondence and briefing notes in keeping with government and organisational policies, standards and guidelines.
What you'll do
- Provide quality assurance, advice and support to staff on the management and preparation of high-quality correspondence and briefs, including assisting with training and resources development.
- Create and manage records and workflows in Content Manager to automate document management and record keeping (including creation, retrieval, requests and approvals, notifications, tracking and reporting) across the department.
- Provide monthly audits and reporting to the Minister and Executive on correspondence and briefing notes in Content Manager.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective communication networks within Queensland Health in relation to correspondence and briefs.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and high-level interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish priorities and organise work to meet strict deadlines and produce quality outcomes with close attention to detail to ensure that documentation is of the highest quality.
- Work effectively in a team environment, and exercise tact, discretion and professional integrity when providing advice at all levels.
- Experience in the management and quality assurance of executive and ministerial correspondence and briefs, and an understanding of Content Manager or similar corro-management workflow systems.
- Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Queensland Health's operations, policies, services and structures.
