Reporting to the Director, Cabinet and Parliamentary Services, the Manager is one of three key leadership roles in a small, high-impact team that plays a key co-ordination role for the department in executive government decision making and reporting.
The position will support the Director, Cabinet and Parliamentary Services to co-ordinate key responsibilities in the Parliamentary and government reporting spaces.
To be successful in this role you will thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to:
- think critically, problem solve and apply sound judgement
- build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships, and leverage those relationships to achieve results
- apply your knowledge of Parliament and the functions of executive government to provide reliable and accurate advice
- critically analyse and review matters progressed to the Director-General and Minister, and other stakeholders to ensure high standards and compliance with departmental and government guidelines
- drive process improvement.
As the supervisor of two team members, you will also work closely with the Director to manage personnel matters and support team members' professional development.
