As a Review Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing external review applications and supporting delegated decision-makers in conducting merit reviews under the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Information Privacy Act 2009. This is your opportunity to contribute to the promotion of transparency and accountability in Queensland. About the Role

As a Review Officer, you will manage the day-to-day handling of external reviews in compliance with the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) and Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld), including engaging with stakeholders to gather information, provide advice, and facilitate resolution. This includes identifying and analysing factual and legal issues, conduct statutory interpretation and research, and brief decision-makers on review directions. You will prepare clear, plain English draft decisions and correspondence, collaborate with colleagues to support organisational goals, and contribute to knowledge management resources.
