The Radiation Oncology Unit (ROPAIR) are looking for a Fellow to join their team. To acquire clinical expertise in one or two tumour sites and to complete a minimum of one research project. To provide clinical care under supervision to in-patients and out-patients of the Division of Cancer – Radiation Oncology Department, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Metro South Hospital and Health Service.

About the Role
- Fulfil the accountabilities and responsibilities of this role in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives, as outlined below.
- The Radiation Oncology fellow will apply the basic principles of Radiation Oncology and continue to acquire new knowledge. Approximately 50% of time will be allocated to clinical duties and 50% to research, educational and administrative activities, depending on individual requirements.
- The Fellow will actively participate in new and review patient consultations under the supervision of a consultant.
- The Fellow will attend allocated multidisciplinary meetings.
- The Fellow may be required to attend clinics elsewhere as determined by the Director of Radiation oncology.
- The Fellow will present cases at peer-review discussions.
- The Fellow will be expected to complete a minimum of one research project during their time of appointment.
- The Fellow will be expected to assist with registrar and undergraduate student teaching.
- The Fellow will participate in in-service lectures to staff.
- The Fellow will attend and participate in quality activities such as grand round presentations, journal clubs and research meetings.
- The Fellow will perform ward rounds on relevant patients as required and be available for weekend rostered ward rounds.
