This role provides specialist Radiation Oncology clinical care to patients and assumes overall responsibility for patient care, with a focus on the management of breast and gastrointestinal cancers. Services provided include: Provides specialist services at Metro South Hospital and Health Service, Provides inpatient care, including participating in the on-call roster Undertakes elective and emergency procedures

About the Role
- Provides inpatient consultations as requested
- Provides outpatient consultations
- Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and meetings
- Supervision and teaching of registrars, junior doctors and medical students, and teaching for other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Participation and or leadership of research and quality improvement activities
- This role reports to Director of Radiation Oncology, ROPAIR.
- This position fulfils accountabilities and responsibilities in accordance with Metro South's purpose and objectives.
- Foster a culture of interprofessional collaboration and leadership through understanding the role and the roles of others in the interprofessional team leveraging this knowledge to establish and meet client goals and inform service direction.
