Queensland Parliament is seeking an experienced barista to join our team. As a Catering Attendant - Barista, you will be responsible for delighting our customers with your exceptional coffee-making skills and working within the busy in-house cafe serving Members of Parliament, staff and visitors.

You will enjoy the benefits working mainly Monday to Friday day shift in the inner city, close to public transport. 

We have multiple casual positions for those seeking a few shifts a week and who prefer flexibility, this role is designed to fit around your lifestyle, ideal for students or anyone juggling other commitments.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year barista experience in a high-volume coffee shop.
  • Someone with a can-do attitude, someone who is willing to pitch in and help their fellow teammates, whether it's working in the café during the busy lunch period, cleaning tables or stocking fridges.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently on your own.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude.
