Queensland Parliamentary Catering Services is seeking an experienced and professional Supervisor, Fine Dining to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll oversee the delivery of premium food and beverage services within the heritage-listed Parliament House precinct. From coordinating elegant dining experiences to ensuring outstanding customer service, this position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your leadership and hospitality expertise in a refined and rewarding environment.

Key Objectives

  • Lead and supervise a team to deliver high-quality fine dining service in a heritage setting.
  • Coordinate restaurant setup and pack down, ensuring exceptional presentation and smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with internal service areas, including Security and Property Services, to deliver seamless dining experiences.
  • Act as the primary contact on fine dining event days, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
  • Support cost and budget targets through effective stock control and resource management.

Your Role

  • Supervise fine dining operations, including staff allocation, service delivery, and troubleshooting.
  • Use event management systems, POS, and scheduling software to support efficient service.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new team members in collaboration with the Senior Supervisor.
  • Maintain compliance with responsible service standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control to meet budget targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in fine dining or high-end hospitality supervision.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using POS and scheduling systems.
  • Current Queensland RSA (mandatory); Food Safety certification desirable.
