Ann Leahy, Member for Warrego, is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Assistant Electorate Officer for the Dalby Office. With flexible hours, (possibility of School Hours) this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to community engagement and provide quality administrative support.

Key Objectives

  • Provide flexible, reliable administrative support within the Dalby Electorate Office.
  • Assist with constituent engagement, enquiries and office operations.
  • Support communications written and verbal.

Your Role

  • Assist with responding to constituent enquiries in person, by phone, via letter and or email.
  • Contribute to drafting a variety of correspondence and preparing written materials.
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing and record management.
  • Assist with distributing newsletters and community information.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and accuracy.
  • Ability to work flexibly with changing tasks and priorities.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • A community‑minded attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a small team.
