Queensland Parliament is seeking a proactive and capable Maintenance Coordinator to support the effective operation of a diverse property portfolio across Queensland. In this role, you'll ensure our facilities remain safe, functional and compliant, while delivering high-quality services to Members of the Legislative Assembly and their offices.

Key Objectives
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across a statewide property portfolio.
- Ensure digital systems and workflows support efficient service delivery and reporting.
- Maintain safe, compliant, and cost-effective facilities operations.
Your Role
- Lead administration of facilities services through the Facilities Helpdesk and systems such as ServiceNow (CMMS/PaaS).
- Coordinate end-to-end maintenance activities, including allocating, tracking and resolving work requests.
- Monitor and analyse maintenance data to inform preventative strategies, lifecycle planning and continuous improvement.
- Provide operational advice to Members and Electorate Office staff on facilities, maintenance and accommodation matters.
- Support and supervise Helpdesk Officers, prioritising workloads and resolving complex or high-risk issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure timely, effective service delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing facilities, leased accommodation or property portfolios in a complex environment.
- Strong knowledge of reactive and preventative maintenance practices.
- Experience using CMMS/PaaS systems to manage workflows, assets and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience guiding team performance and fostering a client-focused culture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and manage risk effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A qualification in property, facilities or asset management is desirable but not essential.
