Parliamentary Services is seeking a professional, organised and community-minded full time Assistant Electorate Officer to join the office of Hon. Ann Leahy MP, Member for Warrego, based in Roma.

This is a full-time position supporting the Member and Electorate Officer in delivering high-quality services to constituents, engaging with local organisations and stakeholders, and assisting with the daily operations of a busy electorate office.

Key Objectives

  • Provide high-quality administrative and support services to the Warrego Electorate Office.
  • Assist constituents, community groups and stakeholders by responding to enquiries and helping resolve concerns.
  • Support the effective day-to-day operations of the Member's office and community engagement activities.

Your Role

  • Provide administrative support including correspondence, research, data entry and records management.
  • Respond to constituent enquiries via phone, email and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain positive relationships with community organisations, government agencies and key stakeholders.
  • Provide general office support including reception, filing, document management and office administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the Electorate Officer to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
