About the role
Fixed term temporary part time opportunity to provide high level professional and operational leadership, strategic direction and advocacy in the management and delivery of Food Services and Nutrition and Dietetic clinical services at The Prince Charles Hospital within the Metro North Hospital and Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide professional and strategic management of Food Services and Dietetics within TPCH and in conjunction with other Metro North facilities across multiple clinical streams and services within TPCH; applying high level clinical knowledge to challenge existing protocols and advocate authoritatively for Dietetics and Food Services in the development of new policy and service models to maximise health outcomes for patients at TPCH.
- Lead and operationally manage Food Services at TPCH across multiple clinical streams and specialities within TPCH.
- Deliver food service and clinical consultancy services with minimal direct supervision to health practitioners, foodservice staff, foodservice coordinators and key stakeholders in order to deliver high quality and effective health services.
- Provide high level advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other relevant stakeholders on leading service quality and improvement activities, clinical service development and delivery, and contributing to formal research.
