About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to develop: a consultant approach; an interest in continuing education; an interest in teaching skills; an interest in and understanding of research; a responsible attitude and commitment to the training of junior staff; an interest in professional activity in anaesthesia and intensive care. This position is to provide a high-quality service within the Health Service.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Active participation in quality activities, in accordance with standard hospital practices
- Serve as a role model for more junior medical staff by behaviour and attitude
- Expand proficiency in theoretical and clinical aspects of management of patients in a sub-specialist field.
- The fellow will be encouraged to participate in ongoing departmental research or supported to develop a research or audit topic of their own aimed towards presentation and a session per week can be allocated towards research where necessary
