About the role
Work collaboratively with the manager of Operations Manager Acute and Access Services Metro North Mental Health – The Prince Charles Hospital (MNMH -TPCH) to ensure excellence in mental health service delivery of access and crisis services at MNMH-TPCH, including Acute Care and Team, Crisis Stabilisation Facility, Co-Responders, Rapid Responders, Safe Space, Nundah House, Consultation Liaison teams. It provides leadership and management in the delivery of efficient, safe and quality care. Ensuring that services are planned and delivered in a manner which supports coordination of care across the continuum, and which recognises the interdependency of service provision with other programs, services, and stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the other Deputy Clinical Directors/Clinical Directors in MNMH and with other community services to ensure an interconnected network of services across the region to support a seamless consumer journey, and ensuring consumers and carers can access the right care at the right place and time.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
- Demonstrated evidence of acting at a leadership level and evidence of an understanding of operational and clinical leadership through effective clinical governance, education and research.
- It is expected the position provides rostered psychiatric clinical services out of business hours to MNMH-TPCH and participates on the ECT roster.
