About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide advanced level clinical physiotherapy services and leadership in the delivery of complex physiotherapy practice within areas of critical care. Manage and direct a medium sized professional team ensuring optimum team work, service delivery and the ongoing development of a complex physiotherapy service ensuring alignment with strategic direction and broader tactical priorities. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Utilise compassion and advanced evidence based Physiotherapy knowledge, skills and critical reasoning to create novel solutions to complex clinical problems across the continuum of care.
• Lead in the development of clinical improvement initiatives and governance frameworks through state-wide clinical networks, TPCH clinical program committees and Departmental / AHP committees as required.
• Demonstrating integrity while providing critical strategic advice to the Director of Physiotherapy, Clinical Programs and other stakeholders on matters falling within areas of responsibility.
• Advocate for Allied Health within the clinical programs to promote optimal models of care in the development of new or changing services.
