About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide administrative support to the cardiology and respiratory indigenous outreach initiatives provided by Metro North Health at the Institute of Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) clinic sites. The Urban Indigenous Respiratory Outreach (UROC) and Heart Outreach Program for Health Equity (HOPE) initiatives involves Metro North respiratory consultants, cardiologist, and respiratory and cardiac scientists providing specialist respiratory and cardiology outpatient service to adults who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander at Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) sites.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Provide support to clinical activities including maintaining wait lists, ordering and distribution of patient medical charts, patient registration and organising patient appointments.
- Process doctors leave roster, close and open clinics in ESM where appropriate.
- Achieve work targets with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in an ever-changing environment
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relations with team members, clients and stakeholders
