About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to deliver advanced level physiotherapy clinical services, professional leadership, and quality improvement in the speciality area of Critical Care. Provide support to stakeholders/customers of the Prince Charles Hospital and wider networks. Participation in 24-hour, 7-day service roster may be required.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Utilise compassion and a strong clinical background in all core areas of physiotherapy and an advanced level of clinical knowledge skill and expertise in the speciality area of Critical Care.
- Provide advanced level clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery.
- Lead high quality service improvement initiatives and actively contribute to / lead the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of research and service improvement activities within Critical Care and relevant clinical programs at a facility and Hospital and Health Service level.
- Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
