Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) is seeking a CED Senior Training Officer to design, deliver and continuously improve learning programs that support frontline employees across the Customer Experience and Delivery portfolio.

In this role, you will assess training needs, develop learning materials and deliver blended learning experiences, including face‑to‑face and virtual sessions, aligned to policy, procedures and legislative requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure training meets business needs, evaluate the effectiveness of programs, and contribute to projects that support a consistent and whole‑of‑organisation approach to learning.

This is an exciting temporary full-time opportunity available statewide (from any QPT office) from 31 August 2026 to 30 June 2027, offering flexibility and the chance to further develop career in a values‑driven public sector organisation.

About you

You are a passionate learning and development professional with strong facilitation and communication skills, who enjoys building capability and supporting frontline teams in a dynamic environment.

You'll succeed in this role if you bring:

  • Experience designing and developing training materials and learning resources.
  • Strong capability in facilitating engaging face‑to‑face and virtual training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to align training with business needs.
  • Well‑developed communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to evaluate and refine training programs.
  • Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives supporting learning outcomes.

Experience in a customer service environment and familiarity with contemporary or virtual learning tools will be highly regarded.
