In this role, you'll play an important role in preparing taxation returns and undertaking income tax reviews for deceased estates and financial management customers. Your work will help ensure QPT meets its obligations as a registered tax agent while supporting the delivery of trusted financial services to Queenslanders.

This temporary full-time AO3 opportunity (up to 6 months) based in Brisbane offers the chance to build your taxation expertise in a professional and supportive environment while contributing to meaningful outcomes for customers and the organisation.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with complex information and take pride in achieving compliance and customer outcomes.

You'll succeed in this role if you bring:

  • Proficiency in preparing income tax returns to review stage with a high level of accuracy.
  • Commitment to providing accurate and timely business support and advice in financial and taxation accounting services.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
  • Ability to convey complex financial and taxation information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
