Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) is seeking a Manager, Investment Advisory Services to lead a specialist team delivering investment advisory services and expert advice that supports informed decision-making and positive outcomes for Queenslanders.

In this role, you'll oversee the investment advisory operations, monitor investment performance, manage key stakeholder and service provider relationships and provide trusted advice to senior leaders and key stakeholders.

This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity based in Brisbane.

About you

You are a strategic and commercially astute leader with strong experience in investment management, financial services or a related field. You bring a sound understanding of governance, risk management and compliance and have a proven ability to lead teams, build stakeholder relationships and deliver outcomes in complex environments.

To excel in this role, the following attributes will be your keys to success:

  • Demonstrated experience in funds management, investments, financial services or a related discipline.
  • Strong governance, risk management and compliance expertise, ideally within a regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder, vendor and service provider relationships to achieve strategic business outcomes.
  • Highly developed analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide high-quality advice and recommendations to senior leaders and governance bodies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience developing team performance and fostering a positive, accountable and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Ability to communicate complex investment and financial concepts through clear, informative reports, briefings and presentations.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Applied Finance, Financial Analysis, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
