About the role
The Investment Operations Team provides office support to Trust Officers through the management of investment-related systems, stakeholder management and financial planning outcomes. The Investment Operations Team ensures that investment decisions made on behalf of our customers are sound, compliant, and in line with their best interests.
As a Senior Investment Officer, your work will support the investment operations for customers of the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT). You'll be responsible for implementing recommendations outlined in Statements of Advice and managing the end-to-end administration of investment activities. Your attention to detail, understanding of financial systems, and commitment to service quality will help ensure customers' assets are managed effectively.

About you
You are methodical, organised, and comfortable navigating policy and processes to deliver consistent outcomes. Your ability to manage competing priorities, apply good judgement, and maintain accurate records will be key to your success in this role.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage task workflows and maintain investment-related systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning principles and investment operations, including equities, registries, and platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with service level agreements
- Proactive approach to implementing investment recommendations and adhering to approved policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Strong organisational and reporting skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to annual investment reviews
