Conservation Intern, Paintings

The Conservation Intern role is a development position for a qualified, emerging conservator. The purpose of the role is to support the activities of the Paintings Conservation work schedule.
This role offers professional development in the discipline of paintings, through participation in all areas of Conservation practice including preparation of paintings for exhibition and loan, condition reporting and updating collection management documentation, complex installation and de-installation of works of art, housing and maintenance of collections and participation in research projects.
This role would suit an emerging conservator or recent graduate with an interest in working with a gallery collection.
