As the Senior Business Intelligence Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing design and development of data modelling, analytics and visualisation solutions using contemporary tools to deliver actionable business intelligence to the Health Contact Centre and its stakeholders. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical experience, and a passion for driving data-driven decision-making. The role combines a well-developed understanding of data storage, business intelligence and data analysis techniques coupled with problem solving and communication skills, to deliver client-centred information.

What you'll do

You will provide essential support to the Quality & Reporting workstream within the Planning and Performance team by designing, developing, and maintaining robust data models and provide guidance to clients in the development and implementation of HCC's analytics and reporting solutions. You will assist the Principal Business Intelligence Specialist in supporting business intelligence and analytics initiatives by adhering to industry best practices, ensuring the delivery of consistent, accurate and high-quality outcomes. You will work closely with HCC services to translate business and operational reporting requirements into intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using modern BI tools such as Power BI.

About you

We are searching for someone who has:

  • High level knowledge and working experience in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions, data modelling, analytics and reporting solutions: current HCC reporting solutions include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Dynamics, Dataverse, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Snowflake, Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service).
  • High level knowledge and working experience in querying, analysing and interpreting clinical and business information systems, in a health context: writing T-SQL and SQL queries, having knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and extracting data from large datasets, critically analyse and transform into insights.
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively with excellent time management skills.
