Join the Queensland Academy of Sport at a pivotal moment on the road to Brisbane 2032 and beyond. As Partnership and Engagement Manager, you will help create the conditions for extraordinary performance by building trusted relationships, strengthening engagement and connecting partners to meaningful opportunities that support Queensland athletes, coaches and teams.

This role brings together commercial acumen, creative storytelling and disciplined delivery to reduce complexity, build confidence and create shared value across the QAS and its partner network — contributing to more medal-winning moments that inspire Queensland and the nation.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the QAS partnership portfolio, building commercial, philanthropic and strategic relationships that support QAS objectives.
  • Develop and implement partnership stewardship and engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships, drive retention and create shared value.
  • Oversee partnership activation, contract delivery and partner experiences, ensuring commitments are fulfilled and outcomes achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across sport, government, education, health and industry sectors.
  • Collaborate across QAS to leverage organisational assets, programs and athlete stories to create partnership opportunities.
  • Support partnership budget management, revenue tracking, forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Lead the delivery of partnership, fundraising and stakeholder engagement events, including flagship QAS initiatives.
  • Monitor partnership performance, prepare reports and identify opportunities for growth, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop the Partnerships Coordinator, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
  • Ensure partnership activities comply with governance, compliance and risk management requirements.

Mandatory qualifications 
None, however, a relevant degree in business, marketing, communications, event management, fundraising, stakeholder engagement or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
