Team Leader, Business Support

QCAA are seeking a Team Leader, Business Support to provide high-level support to the Program Delivery Branch within stipulated timeframes and to quality standards. The Business Support team is responsible for managing and coordinating a range of operational, logistical and administrative activities such as catered events that align with business objectives to support • senior assessment quality assurance processes including endorsement and confirmation; and • to help implement NAPLAN testing and senior external assessment in schools.

In the Team Leader role, you will:
- Lead the Business Support team on a day-to-day basis to deliver high-level business support services and advice to the Principal Assessment Officer and other business units across the various programs, specifically with regard human resource management (staffing for events) and workplace health and safety.
- Manage and co-ordinate the activities of the team by distributing work evenly, considering peak demands and ensuring team members are aware of priorities and risks.
- Manage relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Coordinate the successful delivery of various activities, including catered events and meetings by managing catering, room bookings and room set up, IT requirements, and workplace health and safety arrangements.
- Participate in ad hoc projects such as investigating, testing and implementing new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Coordinate administrative assistance at peak times to other teams and Units across the Branch, including preparing daily reports and providing timely updates to business units regarding communication systems and other service requests.
- Regularly review and evaluate procedures and systems with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation and flexibility.
- Undertake any other duties as directed by the Principal Assessment Operations Officers and/or the Manager of the Program Management Unit.
