What you will do
In the Principal Project Officer – Primary role, you will:
- lead, manage and contribute to assigned curriculum and assessment projects, including connected curriculum, multi-age planning and P-6 Technologies, within timelines, using allocated resources and involving officers across QCAA and external participants
- lead and participate in project teams to develop policy advice, resources and professional learning that is informed by research and data
- plan and present professional development for primary leaders and teachers to support the implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum
- provide expert advice to Managers and the Director on issues related to P-10 Australian Curriculum, particularly in a primary school context
- prepare briefings, correspondence and reports and other high-level correspondence
- liaise with government and non-government educational agencies on assigned projects
- develop and maintain professional relations between QCAA and key stakeholders
- participate in forums, workshops and discussion groups in relation to the work of the QCAA
