The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Principal Program Delivery Officer to join the Program Management Unit. The Principal Program Delivery Officer is a senior member of Program Management Unit. The role provides leadership, advice and tactical support in the coordination, management and delivery of strategically aligned assessment events and services across the programs administered by the Authority. The ability to conceptualise and identify business and system improvements ensuring staff are skilled and capable to advance new approaches is a requirement.

What you will do

In the Principal Program Delivery Officer role, you will:

  • Lead, oversee and coordinate multi-disciplinary corporate functions and delivery teams, as outlined, providing a single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and undertake significant operational and corporate events delivery improvements projects providing authoritative, professional and timely advice, reports and briefings regarding best practice strategies, innovation and priority areas to improve partnerships and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Assist in positioning the unit to respond to change and mitigate high risk elements of operational and administrative tasks to meet the requirements of NAPLAN and senior internal and external assessment events and
  • Monitor current and emerging issues, contribute to the development, implementation and review of operational plans and initiate action to reach timely resolutions that meet business requirements.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships and work collegially to ensure effective integration, coordination and liaison across stakeholder
  • Manage performance, mentor and coach your team to facilitate continued development and overall high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards while managing timely, accurate and complete information to enable smarter decision making.
