In this role you will have the following responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Manage a high-performing governance team to work collaboratively with business areas and provide quality advice on the implementation of governance and risk management processes.
- Lead and coordinate the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Commission's governance, risk management, performance reporting and audit frameworks.
- Provide high level strategic advice and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Board (ELB), Audit and Risk Committee, and other governance forums.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Corporate Policy Framework which ensures compliance with legislative, statutory requirements and policy obligations.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of governance policies, risk registers, delegations, internal audit coordination and compliance monitoring processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of organisational planning, risk and reporting documents including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead the execution of regular internal and public risk management and assessment processes of the Commission's performance, while monitoring and reporting on key risk areas, quality assurance and audit outcomes.
