Within the Corporate Services Division, the People and Capability team is responsible for building capacity through continuous improvement of the Commission's organisational design and to shape a culture where people have a sense of belonging that supports a diverse workforce. Our aim is to enhance the delivery of strategies, governance, services, structure and processes, while harnessing a connection where everyone feels safe, respected and included.
This is a newly created role and as the Principal HR Advisor, you will provide strategic high level HR generalist advice and services to senior leaders and employees of the Commission across the employment lifecycle, including workforce planning, employee and industrial relations, performance management, recruitment and retention, learning and development and workplace health and safety.
You will also partner with the Manager, People and Capability to develop and lead HR initiatives that align to the Commission's strategic workforce plan, while contributing to building a high performing, respectful and inclusive workplace culture. This role will also have formal supervisory responsibilities; you will play an active leadership role as a senior member of the team.
