The role
This recruitment process is for a Talent Pool within Queensland Health's Corporate Enterprise Solutions team. As a Senior Developer, you will lead and mentor senior developers in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of system enhancements and modifications for Queensland Health's Enterprise Corporate Applications. You will analyse business requirements and system specifications to ensure alignment with organizational needs and provide specialized expertise to both staff and management. In this role, you will be responsible for system design, development, unit testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with development standards and maintaining a quality procedural framework. Additionally, you will be instrumental in providing high-level advice on best practices in information management, liaising effectively with stakeholders, and fostering a collaborative, client-focused team environment.

Your experience in business application development technologies, particularly in complex IT environments, will allow you to offer innovative solutions to system problems and deliver projects on time. You will also have a proven background in project management, applying methodologies to oversee major projects, and assisting management in supervising and mentoring team members. Effective communication and the ability to consult with diverse stakeholders are essential in this role. While not mandatory, experience with SAP S/4HANA, including specific areas such as SAP Fiori Configuration and Data Migration, will be highly regarded. This Talent Pool recruitment process may lead to future opportunities, and the role may require after-hours work to ensure the successful delivery of enterprise solutions.
