The role  
In this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of warehouse functions, including the receipt, handling, storage, bar code scanning, picking, packing, and dispatch of supplies and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. You will ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to meet routine and urgent delivery requirements while maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety policies. The position requires the operation of warehouse management systems and powered mechanical handling equipment, as well as participation in housekeeping duties to uphold a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you will engage in performance development and planning processes while maintaining flexibility across operational rosters.  

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the warehouse, demonstrating an understanding of warehouse processes and pharmaceutical terminology within a manufacturing and wholesale distribution environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and within a team, and the capability to follow written and oral instructions effectively. While a relevant qualification is not mandatory, it is highly regarded. Applicants may be required to meet vaccination requirements as per Health Employment Directive No. 01/16.
