The Asset Management & Facilities Coordinator will have an essential role within the Facilities and Infrastructure Renewal team to provide operational expertise in the provision of facilities services for Queensland Museum.
You will lead the delivery of facilities management, workplace health and safety and fire safety.
You will create strong interpersonal relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and calm under pressure, with exemplary interpersonal skills and a flexible can-do attitude.
Required skills and experience
There are no mandatory qualifications for this role. However, experience in the cultural sector or government organisations as well as formal qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Project Management, or a related field will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain relevant certifications, qualifications, and training necessary to perform the duties of a Fire Safety Advisor and Workplace Health and Safety Advisor.
Desirable requirements:
- A High Risk Work Licence (e.g., Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP)) is desirable.
- A current C Class Driver Licence or the ability to obtain one promptly is also desirable.
