What you'll do
Reporting to the Campus Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in:
- Developing and implementing the effective scheduling of statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance plans to ensure continuity of essential services critical to the delivery of effective services across the campus, equipment reliability, safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Managing work orders, scheduled tasks and tracks maintenance history with the use and development of the Department of Health Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP S4HANA) and the maintenance planning function.
- Planing and coordinating maintenance plans, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation in collaboration with Campus Maintenance Manager, Trade Coordinator, Trades team, and Contractors.
- Developing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules, coordinating maintenance activities and managing work orders, using S4Hana (CMMS System – Computerised Maintenance Management System).
- Ensuring efficient allocation of resources, materials and ensuring priority allocation of works to enable the successful delivery of maintenance works according to criticality and service delivery interruptions.
- Managing Coronial & Public Health Sciences (CPHS) assets, plant and scientific equipment maintenance requirements and translate into recommended and prioritised maintenance schedules and programs to achieve compliance with Department of Health asset management strategies and industry best practice.

- Has proven success in scheduling maintenance to ensure high reliability assets, equipment compliance to obligations and safety in operation in the context of asset management principles in a large, diverse, and complex healthcare organisation.
