This outstanding opportunity requires a high level of culturally safe engagement with a range of diverse community groups to:
- Plan, monitor and report on project objectives and outcomes ensuring good governance and completion of milestones on time and within budget.
- Consult with key Queensland stakeholders and the Get Ready Alliance network to conduct research and consultation with national First Nations and CALD groups.
- Procure and manage contracts to design and deliver creative and professional videos and related resources, including video scripts, storyboard production and sourcing of image photography, as editable Easy Read resources.
- Deliver accessible resources for a range of natural disasters including bushfires, floods, cyclones, storms, heatwaves, earthquakes and tsunamis, with a high-level explanation of disaster responses.
- Ensure resources are suitable for a range of mediums including websites, social media, education centres and can be distributed through a range of communication channels.
- Produce guides to tailor resources to community needs and a communications plan to promote the resources available.
- Evaluate and show case project outcomes and lessons learned.
- This role will require travel to meet in person with stakeholders and to attend or facilitate events. Your travel arrangements may include remote and isolated locations and a range of transport forms including flights and self-driving.
